Upstate Visual Arts presents: “Dog Gone Days”
pet & animal exhibit BYOP for meet & greet
(Open to All Area Artist)
June 4 opening 6-9~exhibition thru June 25
This will be a family fun exhibition and event for the First Friday Weekend of June 4, and continuing June 6-9. We want to have a fun filled exhibition of pet friendly artworks inspired by the ones we love, “our PETS”. We also hope to see many folks out and about with cuddly creatures (in your arms or on a leash, please). We are now open on Saturdays from noon-4, and we would like to see folks come out in the West Greenville Pendleton Street Arts District. UVA plans to host a family friendly art area with projects for the kid in all of us.
Eligibility: This is an open exhibit for UVA members and non-members (non-members will pay a $25.00 fee) or pay $40.00 to become a UVA member. We would like to see a fun & friendly exhibit filled with color & exploration. Mixed media or something unexpected is preferred. The addition of objects, collage, glitter, photos, or fabric are all possibilities…using your imagination is encouraged!
For this exhibit we plan to showcase as much work as possible filling the walls with lots of warm and fuzzy feeling …gazing at the “ones we love” our pets or cuddly creatures of the wild. This is an ALL MEDIA exploration to be installed creatively.
